Meet The Hog Wild Crew

Amanda Burgess

Amanda Burgess is the Jane of all trades at Hog Wild, with responsibility for staffing, leading events, event coordinating, and operator of Chef Tec. She has been employed at Hog Wild for 6 years. She helps out in the community by purchasing shirts from Sevenly where all of the contributions go to supporting Child Help. She graduated from Freed Hardeman University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Arts and Humanities with an emphasis in Graphic Design and Oil Painting. She lived in China for two years where she taught English at Ningbo University from 2006-2007 and Southern Foreign Language School from 2008-2009. Amanda is also a professional dog sitter and loves each animal as her own. In 2012 she received her license in Esthetician from the Tennessee Academy of Cosmetology. Amanda lives in Midtown with her cat SC. When she is not working at Hog Wild you can find Amanda reading a great novel, watching Duck Dynasty, traveling, sleeping, or discovering new music.

Danielle Danforth

Danielle Danforth is the internal sales representative at Hog Wild. She has been employed at Hog Wild since January of 2012. She is a member of NACE, and HSMAI. She is also involved in her schools club, Hospitality Management Society, where she serves on the board as secretary. She graduated from Southwest Tennessee Community College in the fall of 2012 with an associate’s degree in Hospitality Management. Danielle lives in Germantown with her adopted canine child Mickie. When she is not working at Hog Wild you can find Danielle babysitting, taking Mickie to the dog park, or sometimes even at Disney World.

Amy Farris

Amy Farris works in Sales and Development at Hog Wild, with responsibility for event planning and business development. She has been employed at Hog Wild since July 2013. She served the Memphis community by volunteering for the Junior League of Memphis and currently serves on the board of trustees at St. Mary’s Episcopal School.

Amy lives in Memphis with her two kids Emma and John William and her canine child Daisy. When Amy is not working at Hog Wild you can find her training for 5ks, cheering on her children at a soccer, football, or lacrosse game. She also enjoys eating at local restaurants with her friends.

Marvin Kelley

Marvin Kelley is the jack of all trades at Hog Wild, with responsibilities from cooking in the kitchen, leading events, all the way to fixing the Hog Wild vehicles, he does it all. He has been employed at Hog Wild for 11 years. Marvin lives in Memphis with his wife Carolyn, and canine friend Sam. They have four kids, William, Charity, Omega, and Felicia. When he is not working at Hog Wild you can find Marvin at church or cozy on the couch watching tv.

Mary Johnson

Mary Johnson is the Office Manager at Hog Wild. She is the one who ensures this ship stays afloat with responsibilities for invoices, accounts payable, HR and the list goes on. She attended Memphis Business School and continued her education at the University of Memphis. She first started working at Hog Wild in June of 2001.

When she is not working Mary is involved in her church at The Orchard Fellowship or visiting with her friends and family. She also enjoys reading a good book or going for a nice long walk outside.

Colin Miller

Colin Miller is the Operations Manager at Hog Wild, with responsibility in providing support to ensure a quality experience from sales to kitchen to the event. He received his BS degree from the University of Memphis in Education. He also attended Montana State University and received a Master’s degree in Native American studies. He was hired on to the Hog Wild staff in July of 2013.

Colin lives in Memphis with his two basset hounds Willie and Waylon. When he is not working at Hog Wild you can find Colin out hiking or fly fishing with his dogs.

Schuyler O’Brien

Schuyler O’Brien is the Assitant Kitchen Manager at Hog Wild, with responsibility of creating new food items, food prep for events, and event lead. He has been employed at Hog Wild for 3 years. He stays involved in the local community by volunteering at the Memphis Grizzlies House. Schuyler graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Orlando. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Business degree at the University of Memphis, where he is involved with the NSMH (National Society of Minorities in Hospitality). Schuyler lives in Memphis with his feline friend Kitt Romney, who is really into Pawlitics. When he is not working at Hog Wild you can find Schuyler mountain biking, running, shooting some hoops, or watching FIFA.

John Oborne

John Oborne is the Kitchen Manager at Hog Wild, with responsibility for food and prep management. He has been employed at Hog Wild for 4 years. John lives in Memphis with his wife Katie, their daughter Lily, and Dog Dehlila. When he is not working at Hog Wild you can find John bowling, golfing, fishing, or playing paintball.

John Robilio

John Robilio is the Director of Corporate Sales at Hog Wild, with responsibility for corporate accounts. He has been employed at Hog Wild for 4 years. He stays involved in the community as a member of the Liberty Bowl Board of Directors, sleeping cat studio, Arkansas Alumni Association, and NACE. John lives in downtown Memphis with his wife Shawna and two canine children/tiny toy poodle Maddy and Maya. When he is not working at Hog Wild you can find John attending music festivals.
